Integrating WordPress into Existing HTML Sites & Server Migration

This is a demo project featuring the “Heikairou” hot spring inn, showcasing the integration of WordPress into a static HTML site and server migration. We built a “coexistence” system that allows specific sections to be updated without compromising the delicate design created by the original designer.

1. Environment Setup

We simulated a server migration from a legacy hosting plan to a high-performance cloud environment. By correctly implementing SSL (HTTPS) and redirect processing, we established a stable browsing environment free of errors right from the launch.

2. CMS Integration into Static HTML Sites

To preserve the existing HTML design, we integrated WordPress only where needed—specifically for news updates and room plan management. This enables the client to manage site updates independently.

3. Robust Security Implementation

Leveraging expertise as a security engineer, we performed thorough database URL replacements and login environment protection. We closed invisible vulnerabilities on the backend to minimize the risk of tampering or unauthorized access.

4. Secure Contact Form Implementation

We implemented strict anti-spam measures (such as reCAPTCHA) and input data validation. By blocking malicious attacks and unauthorized transmissions, we created a communication channel that the client can operate with peace of mind.
