WordPress Updates & Admin Panel Customization

In this project, we restored a legacy WordPress site that had not been updated for over five years, bringing it up to the latest standards while prioritizing operational ease of use. We resolved issues caused by long-term neglect and rebuilt an environment where users can update content without hesitation.

1. Resolving Fatal Errors and System Normalization

We fixed all “Fatal Errors” caused by incompatibility with modern PHP environments. By upgrading the neglected system to a secure, up-to-date environment, we fully restored the site’s functionality.

2. “Subtraction-Based” Admin Design to Prevent Accidental Breaks

We thoroughly removed unnecessary menu items (such as theme editors and plugin settings) that aren’t needed for daily operations. This minimizes the risk of clients accidentally changing critical settings and breaking the site.

3. Intuitive Dashboard Construction

We implemented a “User Guide” directly on the dashboard upon login. This provides a client-friendly environment where users can intuitively start update tasks, even without technical Web knowledge.
